Penelope Love, M.A., is an editor, writer, designer and consultant with fourteen years in the publishing industry and the owner of Your Divine Write, Inc. Since 1997, she has edited books, as well as a magazine, while also dedicating her editorial expertise to the development of major websites, including Bankrate.com and RWJF.org. Since teaching at the University of Florida, Penelope has guided scores of writers to achieving the dream of becoming published authors.
A former editor for the original Chicken Soup for the Soul publisher Health Communications, Inc. (HCI), Penelope now stands by author’s sides throughout the intricate publishing process. During her tenure as chief editor of HCI’s magazine, she worked with such notable authors as Don Miguel Ruiz, Ned Hallowell, First Lady Betty Ford and William C. Moyers. She is also the editor of twelve books, including Jacquelyn Small’s The Sacred Purpose of Being Human and Be Still and Know I AM God by Anonymous, a self-published book that was recently picked up by a large traditional publisher. Not only has she copyedited and proofread for Barnes and Noble, Inc., but her edited books are endorsed by best-selling authors such as Jack Canfield, Chuck Hillig and Drs. Benjamin Carson, Larry Dossey and Fred Alan Wolfe.
Penelope’s expertise is concentrated in the areas of editing, writing, print and web design, publishing, and consulting on author platform development. Since she began consulting in 2004, she has nurtured dozens of writers who then advanced their careers through publishing books, blogs, newsletters, and bylined articles in magazines and professional journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
Penelope holds an M.A. in Mass Communication with Honors from the University of Florida and a B.A. in English (Phi Beta Kappa) from Stetson University. A native New Yorker based in South Florida, she is also a freelance writer and magazine columnist.
